What schools say about our workshop

Partners for Life was presented to Kuper Academy's grade 9 classes in February 2023. The workshop greatly impatec the students as they became more aware about the signs and symptoms of depression. In particular, one facilitator informed me that a student was crying throughout the presentation. Afterwards, I spoke with the student and determined, for safety reasons, she should be seen by hospital. She was subsequently diagnosed with depression and received treatment and family support. By the end of the academic year, she was feeling much better. Thank you to the facilitators for flagging this student to me.
