Adolescence is a period of great change, and anxiety in adolescence can sometimes be a source of worry for the people in a teen’s life. Adults can experience uncertainty and doubt or feel overwhelmed by the situation, all of which is completely normal.

Know that you are not the only one going through trying times, and that there are concrete things everyone can do to identify teen anxiety symptoms, support teens’ well-being and help them grow—even during the hardest periods. Adults can play a key active role in this decisive, yet normal developmental stage.

As a long-time chair of the board for the Fondation des Maladies Mentales and a trusted ally of the Fondation Jeunes en Tête, Jocelyne Monty has made many dreams come true.
