HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING
Outline your project
- Define the nature of the event (sporting event, artistic, cultural…)
- Determine your target audience.
- Set a financial target.
- Create a committee of dedicated people with a variety of talents.
- Refine your formula, set the date, time and location of the event.
Submit your project
- Fill in our online submission form (as soon as possible so that our committee can review your project).
- If your proposal is accepted, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
Make some noise
To ensure your success, publicize your event on social media and encourage your friends and acquaintances to take part.
Need a logo, a banner, some documentation to give to your guests? We’ll be at your side every step of the way to support you in all your event needs.
Make your donation
Once you have completed your fundraiser, send the funds to Youth in Mind Foundation within a maximum of 45 days. In accordance with provincial and federal laws, we will then send you a tax receipt.
Show some love
Remember to thank all the wonderful people who have helped you with your project: volunteers, sponsors and participants. That’s how you’ll inspire them to make a lasting commitment to your cause. For example, you could write a thank-you letter, mentioning the amount raised and highlighting how everyone’s participation contributed to the event’s success.
To organize a fundraiser for the cause, or if you have any questions, please contact Marguerite Trudel-Poitras, Community Events Project Manager.

THANK YOU !
Thanks to your donations, we meet over 50 000 young people every year through our Solidaires pour la santé mentale and La base pour la santé mentale workshops.
We teach young people to :
– Maintain a good mental health.
– Express themselves when they are in distress.
– Recognize depression and seek help.
Your support is invaluable, THANK YOU!
