$605,000 raised to help prevent psychological distress in young people!

The Jeunes en Tête Fondation’s 20th annual Valentine’s Day Ball raised $605,000 net to help fund its ongoing initiatives to support the mental health of young people aged 11 to 18. Under the honorary presidency of Nadine Renaud-Tinker, Regional President, RBC, for Quebec, this year’s edition was attended by more than 625 members of the Greater Montreal business community, who were treated to a memorable evening in the enchanting décor of Montreal’s Windsor Station.

The funds raised will help finance classroom workshops and online content to enable young people and those around them to develop mental resilience. Since creating our workshops, nearly 1.3 million teenagers have received concrete, turnkey tools to help them deal with life’s challenges.

The involvement and generosity of our partners, donors and participants were crucial to the success of this event, underlining the importance of joining forces to tackle psychological distress among young people.

As the evening drew to a close, anticipation among attendees for the 21st edition of the Valentine’s Day Ball could clearly be felt. Jeunes en Tête Fondation is already inviting supporters to not wait and reserve their spot for next year.

If you’d like to attend the next Valentine’s Day Ball for the cause, please send an email to Chantal Raymond at craymond@fondationjeunesentete.org. Places are limited, so don’t delay! Join us in making a real difference in the lives of young people.

During the Jeunes en Tête Fondation’s 20th Valentine’s Day Ball, young Lou-Raphaël shared his poignant story of depression during his high school years. Bullied and excluded at school, Lou-Raphaël suffered two episodes of severe psychological distress. Thanks to Jeunes en Tête Fondation’s involvement through its “Partners for Life” workshop and the support of his school, he was able to get the help he needed, when he needed it. He benefited from the guidance of a social worker and received critical support from his network of friends. Today, this dark period is behind him, and he’s now studying natural sciences, with the goal of eventually entering the healthcare field where he can be of help to others.

Discover, rediscover and share his story to help us change the lives of thousands of other young people like Lou-Raphaël!
