This workshop, available free of charge to schools, is designed for students in Secondary 1 and 2 (Grades 7 and 8). It equips teens with the keys to positive mental health.

WHAT WILL TEENS LEARN?
At the end of this workshop, students will be able to:
- Understand mental health and brain function
- Understand how their mental state can affect their behaviour (stress response)
- Better understand the useful side of emotions
- Develop the reflex to observe their thoughts, emotions and physical sensations in their daily lives
- Use mindfulness as a concrete tool to regulate emotions
- Practice mentalization to better understand themselves and maintain relationships
- Sort through their thoughts
- Identify when and where to use these skills and tools
