$563,000 NET RAISED TO PREVENT PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS IN YOUTH

On Monday, June 1, over 260 players gathered at Club Laval-sur-le-Lac for the 35th Youth in Mind Foundation Golf Tournament: a symbolic milestone supported by a business community that steps up, year after year, to take meaningful action for Quebec teens.

This year’s event was presided over by honorary co-chairs Jean-Yves Bourgeois, Executive Vice-President of Business Services at Desjardins Group, and Vincent Martel, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, CFA, at Pomerleau. Thanks to their dedication and the generosity of Tournament participants, $563,000 net was raised for the prevention of psychological distress among young Quebecers.

Every dollar raised during this event translates directly into on-the-ground action: in-class awareness workshops for high schoolers and online resources for adults who work with teens on a daily basis, to strengthen the safety net around them.
