Thank You to Manulife for Their Growing Trust in Our Mission

Youth in Mind Foundation is proud to once again count on the support of Manulife, which announced last week a $500,000 investment to support the prevention of psychological distress among youth aged 11 to 18 across Quebec.

This new step forward will allow us to go even further in our school-based awareness initiatives and in the development of practical tools for youth, parents, and school staff. Manulife’s support strengthens our prevention mission and reflects a meaningful recognition of the impact of our work.

Manulife helps build a future where every generation can thrive. Through our Longevity Institute, we are committed to helping people live longer, healthier lives. ”

 – Alexis Gerbeau, head of Quebec, Manulife Canada

For several years now, Manulife has chosen to invest in prevention and support initiatives that promote youth mental health and well-being. This renewed trust allows us to build long-term initiatives and continue developing accessible, inclusive resources that reflect the realities young people face today.

This support will help strengthen our workshops in high schools across Quebec, while also allowing us to create new content to better equip the adults who support youth every day. Online workshops, digital resources, and discussions for parents and caregivers will be developed over the coming months.

Discover the latest initiative from Youth in Mind Foundation: a live session held as part of Mental Health Week 2026, now available on YouTube, titled “Screens and Teens: How to Move from Friction to Connection at Home?”, powered by Manulife. This session features content, tools, and valuable discussions with host Élyse Marquis and guest expert Carolanne Campeau, prevention advisor on screen-use risks at PAUSE, designed to help families develop a healthier and more constructive relationship with screens during adolescence. We warmly thank Manulife for this trust and for its meaningful commitment to youth mental health.

Together, let’s continue taking action early, where it matters most.
