Our mission<\/h3>

The mission of the Youth in Mind Foundation is to prevent psychological distress in young people aged 11 to 18 in Quebec.<\/p>\n

We accomplish this mission by providing teens, their parents and school staff with online tools and awareness workshops in schools. Birth of the Mental Illness Foundation under the guidance of Dr. Yves Lamontagne, an eminent psychiatrist who chaired the Coll\u00e8ge des m\u00e9decins du Quebec for many years.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”140px”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]

Creation of the Promexpo Foundation (which will later become Fondation Qu\u00e9bec Jeunes) by a group of business people. The foundation promoted the physical and mental well-being of poor and homeless youth before changing its focus to help all young people between the ages of 11 and 17 who are in difficulty or in need of help.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”140px”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″]
